Are there any plans to have an export function that allows projects to be imported directly into MS Project Online? At the moment, the MS Project export creates an XML file that needs to be loaded into Project for Windows, saved as a native project file and then imported into Project Online.

We are looking into this, but there is no timeline from our side.

Microsoft Project XML is since a long time recommended from Microsoft self, in case of exchanging datas from third party apps and is still supported by its desktop clients.
