Report Feature and Printing to PDF

I have created a report showing a gantt of my project. When i view it on screen it is as I wish with the timeframe expressed in weeks. However, when I then print and preview in PDF or save to PDF, the timeline is converted to be expressed in Quarters. See attached images for clarity.

Anyone know what is doing this conversion ?

we tried to reproduce using most recent versions of Merlin Project (8.2.0) and macOS Sonoma.
Following your details, PDF printing as well as PDF exporting worked out fine here, both showing the same timescale values.

Hi,

It feels like the app is resizing the gantt units for the content to fit into the page.

When needing the 'This Month' timeline, you can enable in the module the filter 'this month'.

Would that bring a PDF with the same gantt units as in the report module?

If not, which is your Merlin Project and macOS version?
Which paper size is selected for the PDF? A4? A3? Another custom size?

Thank you for the replies. I am using MacBook Pro 2017 running MacOS Ventura 13.6.7 (22G720).

I am using the 'This month' filter in the report area and on the screen I get the view I want and expect. It is only after exporting or printing to PDF that the issue occurs. It is the PDF that then shows by Quarter.

Hi ...

I have now changed the view from 'Planning View' to another view but that gave me a Report in Quarters, I then changed it back to 'Planning View' and now the report is showing the time in Quarters, I cannot get it to shows weeks even on the screen now as it was originally.

In the report I notice when you select the time area (grey) you cannot amend the tier unit in the inspector.

All views that I am using are set as time tiers Top=Week Bottom=Day.

Hi ...

Something weird is happening.

Now I have simply moved to the work breakdown view and then back to the report view, without changing anything. This has resulted in the report showing weeks again ... and when I try print to pdf, the pdf also now is in weeks.

So as of now ... it is as I want it but I don't know how.
